Biography/HistoryBiography: Growing up in the streets of France, a young Philippe's family was known for it's involvement in the local crime syndicate. His father, a former renowned criminal and his late mother whom her husband stepped out of the syndicate for. Raised as a loner, Philippe spent time alone rather than with others due to their fear for his family. As he grew older however, Philippe began getting involved in petty crimes such a store theft. This grew quickly into much heavier crimes, such as robberies amongst others. While expecting his father to be proud, quite the opposite happened as his father finally shunned his son for his actions. Enraged, Philippe was set to leave the home and live on his own until a letter came on almost poetic time, with a warning. As with any criminal, none of them ever leave the business. Simply because they are never allowed to, unless they 'disappear'.
So they did with the help of a family friend named Jolon, who also lived where the pair would now move to. Philippe Sr. and Jr. now lived in London, England. With the intensely heated arguments fresh in their minds, what should've created separation between the two in actuality brought the two closer together. And finally, his father convinced to have Philippe grow up as a somewhat normal kid. Philippe dropped out of school early and instead moved on to working to provide for him and his father. One day he came home to found his father had passed away due to sickness. It left him broken and in despair. He sought distraction. It was then where Philippe learned of Caged Evolution Wrestling, who were performing a house show locally. It was not the spotlights that caught his attention, but rather the fighting. Fighting... something Philippe was always fond of. Always surrounded by violence, Philippe picked up several tricks on his own. Thus, he bought a ticket but instead of playing the spectator, his intentions were to get signed at the age of 18.
After a long struggle, Philippe managed to slip through security and find the General Manager of the show. They had a heated discussion where a conclusion was drawn. Philippe had no experience in the wrestling industry, thus he had to learn. He was brought into a special training program, where people with 10 years of experience if not more were to pass all their knowledge and what not to their pupils. Philippe aced all their classes, and quickly outgrew the competition. What would've taken 5 years normally, he did in 3. Thus, after a tryout match he was signed to Caged Evolution Wrestling: Underground... with his manager; Jolon Stevenson. The old family friend had caught up to Philippe (who signed under the name Vossler, a nicknamed received from his father due to Philippe always acting 'sly' like a fox. A 'Vos' was a 'Fox' in Dutch, thus Vossler.) and wanted to manage him in his wrestling career. He witnessed his friend grow into what he is now, and waited eagerly for him to be ready.
With Philippe, now Vossler, being naturally defiant of the authorities he quickly got on the bad side of the general manager on Underground. To the point where he was booked in matches against his favor. The GM did not want to lose potential buys on a now popular Vossler, and booked him in the Money in the Bank match with the added stipulation that if Vossler were to lose, he would be fired from Underground. In a match he fought hard in, the numbers got to him as then Filthdow won the Money in the Bank contract, causing Vossler to be out of a job. Due to this Vossler quickly became a hotly debated free agent, eventually picked up by International Superstar Wrestling; ISW ran by Golden Cobra.
Vossler forced himself into the tournament for the World Title, involving many potential superstars and the management themselves. Vossler ran rampant and dominant in the tournament with what the fans described as 'squash matches' until eventually having to face the (what he described as) "Silently chosen winner"; The management themselves. Vossler won the match after a hard fought battle, but after adding insult to injury he was shortly after fired. The management inserted themselves into the final World Title match after losing, showing just how corrupt and two faced it was. During this time, Vossler had set up a stable known as 'Strength In Numbers'; S. I. N. consisting out of potential superstars, who held the tag titles in the end shortly after Vossler's firing.
What happened after Vossler's firing is uncertain. Many speculated that he had signed with Rock and Wrestling as "VOX" with two brothers he learned he had; "REX" and "JAX". However, when asked if this was true in a Shoot Interview, Vossler quickly shot down these rumors with the statement:
"No, I wasn't in Rock And Wrestling. I don't have any brothers, I don't have blond hair and I certainly wouldn't cover my face while wrestling. That's just stupid. If it were true, however... let's consider that non-canon." with a wink before moving on to the next question.
Vossler made his debut in BFW after confronting an eager Shane Mann on the 2nd show. Their bout was made into a title match for the Carnage Championship. Vossler faced Shane Mann in a losing effort, but went on to defeat Mann for his title the following week at the 'New Years Massace' Pay-Per-View, winning his first title.
With victories over the likes of Adam Wolfe and Loh, there was a fatal four-way held to determine the #1 contender for the Carnage championship. With a collaborative effort, the Dictatorship came out victorious and Dictator Helm faced Vossler for the Carnage Championship with Adam Wolfe facing Agent Rodriguez the match before. Rodriguez came out victorious, marking him fresh to manage Dictator Helm in his championship bout. It proved to be a saving grace, interrupting Vossler from winning the match and chucking him off the Cage of Death through a table. His 58 day reign came to an end, and after the match insult was put to injury. Literally. After an awkward landing to lose him the match, an assault from the Dictatorship, an awkward mistake from his now former partner Adam Wolfe it was up to Loh to finish the job. With a sledgehammer, Vossler's shoulder was broken. Loh would not leave it at that and aimed for a fatal hit until an unlikely ally in Serena came to the rescue.
Vossler travelled back to London, England. Here he learned his family had been blackmailed of almost every penny they had. Vossler invested the last bit of cash he had in finding the person blackmailing him, and have them killed as to show the world not to mess with the Chiari family. It turned out to be Gareth Tremont, the former and one half of the first tag team champions in BFW history. With Gareth now out of the picture forever, Vossler regained control over his life and gathered enough money to be able to return to BFW whenever he would desire. In the meantime whilst recovering from his injury, he would be spending the majority of his time practising a new and rougher style of wrestling that he was sure would help the world take him more seriously.
