Championship Information

The BFW Mayhem championship is a low-mid tier title with a twist. This title is generally only defended at pay-per-view events, however, the belt is unusual in that it doesn't require a match to be won and is therefore essentially always up for grabs during a show where it is being defended. Instead, whoever literally possesses the belt is the champion. Theft, treachery, blindside attacks and the suchlike are definitely to be expected in the hunt for this title.

In roleplay terms, challengers put their names into the fray. Because this belt isn't fought for in a match, challenging needn't replace the challenger's other match plans. Once the challengers are known, each will be contacted (in private) with details of who the belt holder that they're to fight is and where in the arena they're to fight. The challenger then writes a scene with two alternative endings, one where they successfully take the belt from the holder and one where they fail.

Whoever holds the belt at the end of the show will be able to keep it until its next defence. If a champion manages to make two successive defences (that being that they leave the two shows still holding the belt, regardless of whether or not they lose it at any stage during the shows themselves) then the championship can be traded in for a shot at the Carnage Champion. If the belt is traded in then it becomes vacant, until the next show it's due to be defended on.

Please note that competitor's inside the top ten, or who hold any other championship, are not eligible to challenge for this title. By challenging for this title, competitors waive their usual right to not be god modded (however, challengers won't be able to inflict anything too permanent, such as bone breaks, etc, onto each other).
